The lessons I learned from my mom, Brenda Martin-Mayotte: 1. The job description of a mother is long and ever changing. 2. Always try your best. 3. Work hard and never give up. Hard work always pays off. 4. Love with your whole heart. 5. Have faith in your family, they will never leave you. 6. You dont always have to like your spouse but you should always love him. 7. How to cook. 8. How to clean really well. 9. How to stand up for my self and knowing when to just be quiet. 10 how to be a good mother. 11 How to be a great friend. 12. How to multi task. 13. How to be independent. 14. How to put my kids needs before my own. 15. How to use tools. 16. Crying is ok and sometimes good for you. 17. Encourage your children and always be there to listen to them. I am sure there are more but these are the ones that I feel like I use on a regular bases and have often reflected on. I am the women I am today because of the women that came before me, especially Barb Mayotte, Grace Martin and Brenda Mayotte!
