The logic of life:You cannot rule life by logic, neither can you at all times act strictly in accordance with a hard and fast rules of ethical conduct. Sometimes we are forced to compromise with circumstances, do something which we know and feel is not consistent with the highest ideals. “Public interest” and “public duty” notwithstanding, if we always acted up to them, most of us would probably spend good part of our time in laying information at the police court. Even judges, who are expected to administer the law as it stands, occasionally permit themselves a departure from strict practice……..
