The longer I live, the more Ive realized that the best way to work on others is to work on myself. If Im the best me I can be, the people who see and do life my way will be attracted and the people that wont will be repelled. Theyll hate you on the way out, for sure, but, thats a (cheap) price to pay. Its the same in personal relationships, work, church, etc. Note to self: BE WHO YOU ARE....not who someone else thinks you should be. Enforce your inner social rules. For instance: I plain out dont like slackers, critical people, naysayers, people who dont keep their promises, people who take more than their share, people who find the problems in every opportunity, people who put their limiting beliefs on me or use their selfishness to damage my fun.... So, if Im diligent, encouraging, keep my promises, give more than I take, find the opportunity in every problem, and encourage myself and everyone to go higher/further/farther/faster than ever before, and only allow people that are fun to do life with near me, and ONLY hang out, live with, work with, and do life with people that align with my best-self priorities, things will work out.
