The mainstream media loves to paint violent video games as an impetus for violent behavior in reality, but I disagree. Lets take Borderlands 2 for example. One of its core aspects is that it superficially portrays violence as a gleefully fun act thats enacted on a grand scale. Yet after playing the game numerous hours (its a freaking good game,) the only thing I feel compelled to do is glue chairs upside down on the ceiling and hold conversations with them.
