The majority of the people living in Gujarat are non vegetarian (Read the article below )... Meat is also the only source of protein for the poor and the tribals? Can they afford paneer and soya? There is also a large population of Muslims and Rajputs living here.... Gujarat had important ports and it was a great cultural hub at one time... As Palitana becomes fully vegetarian and with vegetarianism being forced down peoples throats.... I must say...
