The majority of you dont know this about me... About 6 months ago exact, my license was taken away by a slightly over zealous officer, who labeled me as a liar and career criminal, with good reason, he looked into my record from 7 years ago here in Florida. A little well kept secret in my past, is 7 years ago I almost list my life, injured others, and killed my dog in a very very horrific drunk driving accident. One that no one could deny a miracle occurred in that Im still alive. My truck was so mangled, they wouldve been lucky to pull a penny out of it in one piece. After my accident I awoke in the hospital attached to all sorts of gear, my hoops and legs were in a traction awaiting me to come into consciousness so they could pull my bones back in place. I shattered my hip plate into almost 100 pieces and my femur pushed nearly through the skin on my butt cheek, and when they found out I didnt have insurance, they practically threw me out of the hospital. I went home with a cathedra still in pace, and without having made a successful bowel movement. So soon after regaining a little strength, I moved to my dads house in Texas to heal a little, it was during this time that Natalie Markuly and I decided to move to Hawaii. As soon add I wad off crutches and fully mobile, we moved to Maui. Being in paradise it was easy to forget about the tragic mistake I made. Long story short, before my accident I had racked up 7 speeding tickets within a months time, and neglected to pay any of them off. Needless to say I had a death wish at the time and always joked about totaling my truck that was choosing me $700+ each month. Side note be careful what you wish for. I had just been released from 2.5 years of house arrest and I went of the deep end. And this ended in my wreck. Anyway, those tickets finally caught up to me, and for the last 6 months I have been depending on my wife to wake up every morning before sunrise and my son too, to drive me to work and home from work. This became her full time job, and we have lost so much money due to this. We have spent my sons entire savings account, and we are constantly in the red on our bills. All this aside I want to share that today is a day of rejoicing! Today I got my hardship license! Good is good all the time! I know being the shadow of a doubt that had any other officer at Abby other time in my life dug that deeply into my record and taken away my license I wouldve rejected my fate and continued driving or running, and dug myself even deeper. But because of His perfect grace and ability to see the end from the beginning, he sustained my driving ability until a day where I had matured enough to handle things righteously. Thank you Papa.
