The masses lack sufficient income to meet their basic living needs - TopicsExpress

The masses lack sufficient income to meet their basic living needs and to function as good customers with money to support our economys growth. Until the system is reformed to empower EVERY citizen to acquire personal ownership in FUTURE wealth-creating, income-producing capital assets––the product of technological invention and innovation––the majority of American people will be financially hurt by the never-ending shift in the technologies of production that destroy jobs and devalue the worth of labor––their ONLY means to an income without owning capital assets. While Robert Reich is a crusader for the little guy and gal, the solutions he advocates involve government coercion or wealth redistribution, or relegation to wage slavery or welfare slavery. Taxation of income, which is nothing more than income redistribution, has failed completely. Social programs have not solved the problem of poverty, income inequality or wealth inequality; they deal with the effects of poverty not the cause. The CAUSE of poverty is failure of our economic system to provide the means of wealth-creating, income-producing capital acquisition by working people and the poor. We need to offer alternative and supplemental SECOND INCOMES to people and that can be done without income redistribution and without expropriation. The Capital Homestead Act would do just that. If the Democratic leadership and Robert Reich really want to create REAL change then the system needs to be reformed and there is no better or practical means than the policy approach outlined in the Capital Homestead Act.
