The meaning of Easter for an atheist is...recognizing the importance of a movement, an idea, the passions of something perceived to be executed, crushed, burned -- and yet, (as the biblical scholars have pointed out whether the resurrection was 3 days, symbolically, or 6 months to a year, literally) the idea, the movement, the soul of a hope, of a faith in a better world -- those things survive execution.
