The meaning of compatibility in married life and Manglikism. - TopicsExpress

The meaning of compatibility in married life and Manglikism. When we talk of compatibility in married couples, we sometimes think of very idealistic situations where there is a guaranteed harmony. This is not correct. Differences in thinking, behaving, liking, disliking and priorities of life are part and parcel of compatibility. The question is of how do both the spouses resolve differences and live a life of harmony based upon coexistence of different approaches, inspired by love, forgiveness and tolerance. If this standard of understanding is reached, the couple would be the richest one in terms of harmony. Many highly educated and careerist marriageable girls may tend to start thinking that they must get a husband who matches with their qualifications and career-status. Similarly, marriageable boys, if their educational/career-status is a little bit lower than their would-be wife; may either reject the proposal or start belittling their wife after marriage (at a subconscious level) just to overcome their imaginary inferiority. These aspects, if resolved before marriage through proper counseling will help create happy couples in a big way. In western countries, a vast majority of happy married couples are unmindful of economic status, age and even height of the female spouse (It could be higher than boy’s). There is no consideration for caste, divorcee-status, Mangleekism and kundlis etc. Marriages transcending caste, creed, color and culture are taking place among the modern-scientific people. The rate of success in these marriages is amazing. Whenever, there was any crisis, the spouses would consult the qualified psychologists. Similarly, the counseling of good friends/relations could work wonders. Manglikism: unscientific, illegal and unspiritual. This is to request you to contact all those friends who more or less or directly or indirectly still believe in the baseless Manglik superstitions .You are aware that billions of people in the non-Hindu population of the world are also born on Tuesday. They are among the normal people. They get their share of happiness and unhappiness in an average manner. There is nothing peculiar about them. Similarly, non-Mangliks also get happiness and unhappiness just like Mangliks. There is absolutely no difference whatsoever. The Manglik mentality is not only unscientific, but deeply injurious to all those who are induced to believe in this untruth. Thousands of perfectly compatible marriage-proposals have been sabotaged due to the Manglikism thereby causing highly traumatic circumstances for lakhs of innocent prospective life-partners and their relations who could have benefited from this made-for- each -other but unduly stopped marriages. Moreover, preaching and practicing of the Manglik superstitions are punishable offences under the Indian laws. There are specific Acts passed by our Parliament and State Legislature to this effect.
