The media is the biggest devil in this whole thing. There are so many injustices going on in this country and the rest of the world right now but they are very tricky in what they want us to pay our attention to. Ferguson is an example of all the other f*cked up shit that has been going on in this country since it first formed and in the rest of the world. Put the spotlight on this so everyone can go bananas and destroy everything. What about all the other ppl who who died from being shot by cops (from all types of backgrounds)? What about the injustice being done to poor families and the homeless? What about the injustice being done to women? What about the injustice being done to the Palestinians? What about the injustice being done to those murdered students in Mexico? What about the injustice being done to people getting kicked out of their own homes bc millionaires are paying off local officials? The list goes on and on. But they rather play the devils advocate in this situation and cause more hate so people lose themselves and act like animals or care for just one second/minute/hour/day. You want to wake up? Better yourself in every small act possible to have a huge impact. Im telling myself first. I still believe in this country only bc of our constitution and people who think big picture in making real changes.
