The media reporting: Russia in the wrong, but seem to me we are on shaky ground. ABOUT CRIMEA: Until about 30 years ago was not part of Ukraine. Geographically: A peninsula between the Ukraine and Russia. Politically: Self governing- has own constitution and Parliament, yet operates in conjunction with Ukraines laws. This week elections held: The predominately Russian population had a huge voter turnout and were overwhelmingly in favor of becoming part of Russia. ABOUT UKRAINE: Recently, unhappy (majority of) citizens seized control of government (not by election / vote/ impeachment) and ousted legally elected president from power. SKETCY as to WHY the US and allies OK with one and not the other? I DONT THINK SANCTIONS SHOULD BE IMPOSED ON RUSSIA. All the world economies are on shaky ground. WONT HELP ANYONE! (Russia didnt impose sanctions when we invade Iraq.) ALSO: News reports now SPINNING story. Reports are Russia is doing this to distract citizens from their economic problems. Seriously! Russia did not initiate this chain of events. NOW, if nations of world want to meddle, DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE help with the Syrian refugee problem, etc., etc., etc...
