The meeting in Lower Brule was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! It really puts into perspective what we are fighting for when you get to meet our cousin tribes of the Oceti Sakowin! I am amazed at what our Kul Wicasa have to go through... their tribal council meetings held in secret.. no minutes, cant get information and they didnt even know what their governments dealings were until they met other tribes! I so feel for them! I wish I had known... but now they got to see how many of us are willing to stand by their side.. to support them, to give them encouragement! it was humbling... I will definitely be saying prayers for them every day! I know that their movement will grow from this day onward.. There are some very brave souls there... and am so glad that I got to meet them! Their country is so beautiful.. I love being near the water like that. And I get to report on some exciting news for the Bridger camp here in Cheyenne River!! A trailer was donated for our use from one of the Warriors! How amazing is that???!!! AND the Oceti Sakowin has decided that Bridger will be the camp base for the OCETI SAKOWIN!!! Everyone said how they are praying for Bridger, for Cherry Creek, for Takini, for Red Scaffold! They have heard YOU, they have heard your prayers and pleas, and they stand with ALL of you! They are ready to support you and be there for YOU!!! More news will be coming shortly. in the meantime a snow storm is coming so please check your propane tanks, check on elders, and make sure your animals are taken care of... I am praying for ALL of you, near and far my friends and family.. I am exhausted.. but this week is going to be another busy one! However I am excited! Hey I was so glad to see Oglala President Brewer at the ENTIRE meeting today! How awesome is that?? He is standing with the people! AND Rosebud President was there too even though he had a family member who passed away last night..he made it to show his support for the people.. I am impressed! They both said if it comes to declaring war on TransCanada and Keystone XL Pipeline they are ready to do that.. encouraging!!!
