The members of Toowoomba Road Runners express their immense sadness at the loss of Roger and Jill Guard. Both have been stalwarts of the club for many years and will be greatly missed. Roger for his quiet but determined demeanor, his ability to attract and befriend all members - a mentor for many who aspired to run and never a harsh word for anyone. Jill for the support she provided in the background, particularly the breakfasts. Both have been been taken at a time when they should and been and were enjoying their latter years.
