The metaphorical bridge between the people who are governed and those who govern, is the Media -- A nations freedom rests on the heels of a free and honest press --- for without it -- the governed cant make decisions on which policies to support. But you can choose what media you pay for. To me --it seems that a responsible media would not tolerate the divide in washington. They would interview the folks who want to work together --rather than the partisan people who have no intention of working together --but that doesnt bring good ratings. plus it seems reasonable that the people who buy off politicans also buy off media producers and executives.. Look at our media format today --its designed to divide people --and its platform is delivering opinion --rather than news --and most of the stories are designed to push an agenda or provide entertainment rather than provide the viewers with important events --- this is an example of many that can be pointed out over all mainstream media outlets...https://youtube/watch?v=XtcucHPkFkg
