The ministry of the gospel is a knowledge-based ministry. - TopicsExpress

The ministry of the gospel is a knowledge-based ministry. Everything in the gospel is communicated by knowledge. Jesus spoke to the believing Jews that continuity in the word is the hallmark of the disciple and that is the pathway to becoming knowers of the truth. It is the knowing the truth that makes one free. The christian is called to a dynamic life, one of knowledge and revelation. It is worth noting that ignorance of spiritual truth attracts a death sentence. We are not called into ritualistic religion, we are called into a new and living way that is made available by the Blood of the Lamb. There are many promises that God has given to the believer in Christ Jesus, yet many of us live below the divine standard because we fail to come into those promises. 2Pet 1:4 speaks of exceeding great and precious promises. But like old Israel, many of us are unable to mix faith with the word that is spoken and thus the expected results are not generated. But then we have hope because we have the Spirit of God in us. We have not received the spirit which is of the world, we have received the Holy Spirit. Even though the prince of this world tries to deceive men by presenting his own face in its multi-faceted dimensions and thus distracting men from beholding the face of Yahweh, the scriptures tell us we are invited to shift focus from him and behold the face of God in Jesus. Our inheritance is to see the face of Yahweh. We are drawn into beholding the face of God in Jesus as we start beholding His word. It is in the word of life that the revelation of His face is made known. The deep truths that bring change upon our souls are communicated as we behold the word of God. We have been invited to come with unveiled faces to behold the glory of the Lord and be transformed into His image by His Spirit. If we refuse to come to the word, we deprive ourselves of the power of His truth and we remain unchanged The Bible speaks of the things that are freely given to us of God. The Bible says these things are taught by the Spirit of God. Though these things are free, they are not common. They are not ideas that are easily expressed in human language because they are not words which can be spoken by the wisdom of man. They are taught by the words which the Holy Ghost teaches. They are revealed in comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Are you aware of the difference between a believer and a knower?
