The moon is approximately 8.4 light minutes away from the sun. Light from the sun is reflected off of the moons surface, and reaches the earth 1.3 seconds later. Now go outside and look at the moon. The light from the sun is hitting the moon, and 1.3 seconds later, that same light that is hitting you is hitting someone that you love.
