The more and more I learn about other cultures race, the more I realize how wrong we have gotten it. There is no Black race, there is no White race there is no Latino race and there is no Asian race. We are all the same. We are African, European, native and Eurasian. Many of the labels we use to describe ourselves are reminders of past conflicts, enslavement and class or political systems which dont honor our true stories. I am African-American with Native American and Celtic blood which means I am black? This logic is absurd. As Josh Minor often says we are all one. The rules. prejudices, the fears and preconceived notions are illusions. We must learn to see the world through the eyes of each other so that the cosmetic differences dont destroy the connects we all share.
