The more mail i receive from your organization the more I hate your brand. This applies to the obvious ones like credit card companies and AT&T. Most interesting to me is that it also applies to non profit organizations I support. I am less likely to contribute as physical mail frequency increases. For non profits, I donate to new organizations on two occasions: I see a video or story online or I suddenly feel thankful or generous. For non profits I already support, I have one criteria: its the last two weeks of December. That being said I think we need a CAN-SPAM act for physical mail. The information for opting-out should be visible from the outside of the envelope so I can opt-out and toss in shredder. What are your thought on receiving physical mailings?
