The more of Christ we have, the greater the desire for light. Grace received is exponentially proportional to the hate for sin, the love of God and the fear of disobedience/separation. The Christian fight is to the end, for Jesus/Light is infinite in depth. Thus, as long as you live in this body of sin, you can never be holy enough. When Jesus returns, the sin that dwells in us will be uprooted, completely and utterly destroyed. Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." (1 Peter 1:13-16)
