The more you manipulate something the less natural it becomes. - TopicsExpress

The more you manipulate something the less natural it becomes. Take my hair for example. My stylist knows the truth about my hair. The natural color.....the ones that still have color that is.... The coarseness of the top layers. The curly ones underneath. The color that is applied. The highlights that are dabbed in to give a natural look. Manipulation has it price. The over worked hair gets damaged when I straighten the curly parts and fluff the flat part on top. I buy products to smooth, shine, condition and hold. I spend time with my hands in it and dont feel right if it doesnt look right. But its manipulated. Theres little natural about it except the growth. And the whole process starts over. Face in the mirror, Rules and laws of life (set in place by the One who created us in the first place) get all manipulated. Changes of color, tone and texture come about. Making it look good so we can all feel good. Conditioning ourselves to rationalize more liberal freedoms. The more it is manipulated.... the less natural it becomes. The more complicated the process of living eventually comes God has shared with us Truth that is natural of His character. When we manipulate His written word...we are actually trying to change the nature of God. Or at least change our perception of Him. We have to ask ourselves why? Why do we want to change the natural that is God? So that we can roll around in....sin. Heres the kicker....and look natural in doing so. For we humans, it IS natural. For we humans that are filled with the love of God and His Holy Spirit....it is no longer natural. Face in the mirror, 1 Corinthians 2:12-16 (NIV) What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for,“Who has known the mind of the Lordso as to instruct him?”But we have the mind of Christ.
