The morning after the debate. Im not sure that the debate lived up to the hype. Has anyone ever seen Alistair Darling so angry? Alex Salmond seem off form and strangely subdued for much of rhe debate. The format didnt help it followthe sport model, pre analysis, stopping the debate ever so often for more analysis. Should have gone straight to the debate and let it flow. The immediate reaction was that Alistair Darling had won the debate. But often in the next day or two that assestment changes as people reflect on the debate. What the main stream media didnt report but wingsoverscotland pick up was the crucial view of the undecided voters asked for their reaction. Those who started as undecided had Alex Salmond winning by 55-45 and those still undecided at the end by 74-26. This must worry the No campaign, we know that most undecided voters become Yes supporters. We will see the full reaction to the debate in the next few days.
