The morning devotional said, and I am paraphrasing, when we go through a test in life often we feel God is silent. When you took or take a test in school, your not typically allowed to ask questions. Most likely the teacher will ignore your attempt or possibly reprimand you. Your expected to know the answers based on what youve learned from the teacher. Sometime God is silent during out trials and test of life. In those times we need to be patient and remember the things Hes taught is in the past. He will NEVER leave or forsake us!! Sometimes we just need to pray for patience to endure until the trial has ended and were made more like Him! That is the purpose for trials! To make us depend and trust Him with every area of our life!!
