The most amazing thing just happened.... At about 6.30pm Im out in the rain and the mud feeding the cows, pigs and horses. My boys are playing explorers out in the paddock with their walkie talkies (as you do!). Next thing I know Willem comes running up to me screaming that Baa (our old sheep) has a head hanging out the back of her and its not breathing. So, up I run and have a look and she does have a head hanging out the back of her. I got her to lay down and told the boys to comfort her. Shes pushing but the lamb is jammed in there and not moving. In I go and gently feel for its front legs and manage to get them out. As Mumma was having contractions and pushing, Im carefully pulling and WE DID IT!!!! We have a totally unexpected surprise little bubba. The boys went and got Greg and he helped me get mum down to the grassed pen next to the house while I carried bubba. Was totally drenched, freezing my ass off and covered with all sorts of gunk BUT I DONT CARE!
