The most disturbing thing about church folk is that they condemn people instead of helping them up through Jesus. You turn people away and in turn they turn others away. Be genuine, empathetic, and loving, then people will want to hear more about Jesus. We all have sinned and came short. Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts… Proverbs 18:19 - A brother offended [is harder to be won] than a strong city: and [their] contentions [are] like the bars of a castle... Offences turn ppl away from the church.. where they cannot hear the Word... therefore.. turning them away from God... That is a terrible sin committed daily... I remember when I was little in church.. and a drunk lady was in the choir with us.. they talked about her so bad.. she left cussin and never came back.. But she really needed to be there more than her offenders... Mark 9:38-39 38“Teacher,” said John, “we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.” 39“Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us. Philip 1:15 15 Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will; 16the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; 17the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause me distress in my imprisonment. 18What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice You need to rejoice too, Christ is being taught, to everyone, Isn’t it amazing that God is making sure, everyone, and I mean everyone is learning WHO JESUS IS. You may not like God’s method, You may not like the messenger, but guess what. God’s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. This is why He is God and not us. God knows how to use everyone for His Glory. Some of you may never understand, so my advice to you, is this. YOU LIVE RIGHT! YOU LIVE ACCORDING TO THE WORD! and do it without mistake, without sin, oh you can’t can you. I didn’t think you could. Learn how to Love even when you disagree.
