The most loving, caring and giving person on this earth was sent to do a greater good yesterday by our lord. Mary Catherine Johnson(Mom), 68, of Terre Haute died at her home on October 31, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents and her amazing cat, Sassy! She was a lifetime member of St. Benedict’s Church . She was active in the church as a volunteer, greeter, eucharistic minister and at the soup kitchen. She was also a eucharistic minister at Union Hospital, a precinct committee woman and member of Hulman Field Airport Board. Mom was also an avid Jimmy Buffet fan. Visitation for Mom will be Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 4-8 PM at St. Benedict’s Church and 10-12 on Wednesday , November 5, 2014. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 12:05. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities.
