The most relevant racism is that in most Black-on-Black, Hispanic-on-Hispanic, B-on-H and H-on-B crimes, there is no arrest and no trial. A Black man and a Hispanic man each knew that the police do not protect "his kind." Each acted in genuine self-defense. Their tragedies were both a direct result, of American police routinely leaving Blacks and Hispanics outside the equal protection of the laws. Partisanship against either one is only indirectly racist. The real racism is the denial of the equal protection of the law to individuals socially perceived as "members" of "groups" - "groups" to which most alleged "members" never chose to belong.
