The needless sufferings of our people has gone on for far too long - TopicsExpress

The needless sufferings of our people has gone on for far too long mainly brought on by the actions or inactions of our political leaders. From Mohamed Sorie Fornah (RIP) and 13 Others, thru Francis Minah (RIP), Victims of the RUF war (RIP), Hinga Norman (RIP), Cholera, Landslides, numerous road accidents, drowning, deaths from simple diseases due to the horrible sanitation and dysfunctional healthcare system, to the current Ebola catastrophe, WE AS A COUNTRY HAVE FAILED TO GET A COMPETENT GOVERNMENT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF ABJECT POVERTY. It is heart breaking to think what might have happened if President Koroma and his cabinet responded to this Ebola outbreak when some of us called on him as far back as March to consider the virus outside our borders and then into Kailahun as a threat to our national security. Instead, there were jokes about Kailahun and comic Ebola cartoon characters mainly from Freetown. That is why in 2017/18 we have to elect a president and parliament that is different from the politics we are accustomed to. We need the best brains with vision in our country to lead and redeem our people.... We don’t need insurance sales men, we don’t need United Nations type poverty abatement agents, and we don’t need recycled military officers or career politicians with no new ideas! Be assured it will be done this time by the power of God!! Amen. MAY THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE NEEDLESSLY PERISHED REST IN PEACE AND MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD FORGIVE OUR COUNTRY FOR THE WRONGS WE HAVE COMMITTED, AMEN!!!!!
