The needs are growing faster than the ministry is growing. August is almost booked and even a few days in Sept. The SFS is at an all-time low, enough money to pay for gas for the next three weeks. Teresa and I have not been worried and we have been taking money out of retirement fund at a penalty to try to help. We know God moves in the perfect moment. I can’t picture that I will not have Gas to go offer my hands to help. Gas can run 100-150 a week in my truck, mowers, saws, trimmers..etc. I know the more seniors I add to help the more it costs. Just at the beginning of summer the gas average was 80-100. So I see why the funds have dwindled. Still the average total expense has remained around 2500 per month with materials and everything. The last three months have averaged 1400 -1600. I have a project that I have put off to build a porch over steps before winter that require $700 in material that I don’t have funds yet to do. I take the stand that I will get it done as the Lord provides.. He knows I am pretty busy and that is a big project.. I currently am fixing up a handicap bathroom a little at a time as I get breaks in emergencies and weekly chores. That senior is paying for all material so gas to get there is only expense. I know that I have hundreds of brothers and sisters who pray for SFS and 10.00 bucks a month would cover the needs. I urge you to pray about it and ask God if this is a ministry you are called to help support. God uses all of the willing. I am just one of the willing and I am not alone in God’s plan. I pray over the ministry which includes you. All who follow and pray are partners who make it all happen. I thank you Lord for what you have done and for what you continue to do. Amen
