The new Pepe album is GREAT! Pepe meaning Pepe Willberg - one of the other Finnish Pepes. Yes, there are few :) Id describe the sound as Brian Wilson meets Phil Spector meets Roy Orbison. Apparently the distributors didnt believe in it so the album basically sold out the day it was released - partially thanks to plenty of glowing 5/5 reviews. Unfortunately (for the rest of the planet) sung in Finnish as the lyrics are really nice too. Some might complain that its retro music. It is not. Pepe is 67 so it is really music hes grown up with. What is really cool, apart from him being both very talented and very humble, is the fact that he still has the vocal range of a young guy.
