The new age teaching of easy grace says, Were all just sinners. God understands if you sin. Christ died for your sins, and you are free to continue sinning because His blood was shed to cover all your sins, past, present and future. In contrast, the Gospel of Jesus Christ says, For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:20-23 The Bible says, we are EITHER a slave to sin, resulting in death, or we are a slave to God and an heir of His righteousness, leading to everlasting life thru Christ Jesus. Christ died to set us FREE from our sin. It is a deadly delusion to think we can continue in sin after coming to know Him.
