The new birth is so powerful and complete that Jesus is not ashamed to call anyone born again as “brother” or “sister” in the Lord. Jesus is King and Lord. If He calls you “brother,” family, equal with Him to the Father, joint-heir, then as King, He has decreed this work on you. This is who and what you are as CONNECTED with Him in God. Heb 2:10-11 CONNECTED 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.
