The new imposed illegal commuter tax on 23,000 non residents is the equivalent to me knocking on a neighbors door and handing them my bills and telling them that they have no choice but to pay. Scranton City Council had no choice but to approve. Shame on the Mayor for not having another solution. With his trusted circle and the 90k out of state guy, you would think there would be another option. I know of two that would work and Im only one person. Senator Blake had over three years to help resolve the cities distress status and the commuter tax was his answer. We are only as good as the people we elect. My next fight is to reverse the illegal commuter tax along with a personal issue with the city over illegally condemning my apartment. The gloves are off, Im knuckled up and ready to fight.
