The new progressive metal album releases for the week of July 30, 2013 are here and this week sees the exciting sophomore album by Norwegian progressive power metal band Illusion Suite (their 2009 album Final Hour was one of the best debuts of that year), some great progressive sludge metal from Canadian bands Gatling and The Great Sabatini along with new U.S. band Cryptid. This week also sees the exciting melodic prog metal of Italy’s Ashes Of Chaos and the dark Black Metal of the U.S.’s Infera Bruo. Finally, we’re very excited to present the latest album by the amazingly inventive progressive technical, jazz-fusion inspired mania of Finland’s Liquorworks.
