The next Fort Greene Peace meeting will be Tuesday, October 8, 7pm at Black Iris restaurant (corner of DeKalb & Cleremont Aves.) All welcome. New people especially encouraged to attend. No membership required. No purchase necessary. If you are thinking of attending please let us know at fortgreenepeace@gmail if you have a chance so we can be sure to save enough seats. Proposed agenda items: 1. Continuing peace actions in our community, following up on our "No US Invasion on Syria" earlier this month at Fort Green Park. Should we do something to commemorate the 12th year of war in Afghanistan? Other activity for peace? 2. Working for accountable development in our neighborhoods. 3. Summing up our work on "end stop & frisk" work and considering further activity. 4. Other suggestions/issues.
