The next Spinning Castle Studios creation. Ram Skull Altarpiece. Work in Progress. This ram died of natural causes. It was nature-cleaned in a field and gifted to me by the rancher who owned the land. The skull was in dire shape... not the high quality I usually use for my art. However, the horns were full of character and skulls that land in my possession usually become my adorned art. So I decided to encase the entire skull in adornment, very much like reliquary Saint or Tibetan skulls, in order to preserve and honor the Ram Spirit that came into my care. This is the first phase.
