The next chapter Your Choice: Battle Zeus “Zeus called it Maia, he is first up” Doc said rubbing the sleep out of his eyes Zeus stood back and motioned for Turtwig to jump in front of him. Turtwig did this with no hesitation. Maia shook her head while muttering “Boys are silly”. “Get ready Mudkip!” said Doc, now fully awake, a tone of excitement entering his voice, he then stood up on his bed and Mudkip jumped near the base “KIP!” announced Mudkip, a determined look came across his usually playful face. “Lets do this!” Doc said Zeus simply nodded and said “Tackle” “Turt!” was shouted as Turtwig ran at Mudkip. “Tackle as well Mudkip” said Doc, Mudkip lowered its head and ran at Turtwig. The two collided with a lot of force, they both slid back a bit from the impact. “Lets try using Watergun, Mudkip!” said Doc. A strong discharge of water left Mudkip’s mouth and hit Turtwig in the face. “Doc you dolt!, water doesn’t do much damage to grass types!” shouted Maia. “Razor leaf” said Zeus simply. Turtwig swung his head, and the leaf on it started glowing, a leaf then launched at Mudkip. Mudkip jumped and dodged the leaf, but it left a slash in the mattress. “Tackle” said Doc, Mudkip then lunged at Turtwig, and got a direct hit. Turtwig fainted from this last hit. Zeus raised his Pokeball and returned Turtwig, then he turned around and walked out the door muttering “Ill win next time, Doc” Doc turned to Maia and asked “Do you want to battle next?” “Your bed is destroyed and your carpet flooded, I don’t want to set your curtains on fire as well” she said then started laughing. “We better get out of here before we get in trouble” Doc said. And then they ran out the door and started looking for Zeus, they couldn’t find him anywhere, so they entered Maia’s house to ask her mum. “Mum, where’s Zeus?” Maia asked her mum. “He left saying that he was going t travel alone” she said. “Why would he do that?” Maia asked with a confused tone. “He said that he couldn’t get stronger by travelling in a group, he said that sharing the workload is for the weak, but you would see him again, He wants to beat Doc” Maia replied. “Then its just us for this journey!” shouted Doc a big smile on his face. “I hope I won’t miss Zeus to much” said Maia in a meek tone. “Lets go!” said Doc then he ran out the door. “Hey!, wait for me” said Maia, then she turned and started chasing him. “We have a big choice coming up, Doc” said Maia “What do you mean?” asked Doc “Do you want to go and see Professor Oak and thank him, or do we enter Viridian forest?” she asked “I pick....” To be continued Your Choices: Go to Professor Oak (This will give you the Pokedex) Enter the forest (this will give you the chance to catch a new Pokemon) ~Slowbro
