The nightmare with UPS continues - Here we go again. Again, your tracking information is misleading and untruthful. Not only did the Lewiston, ID, USA terminal leave me hanging and awaiting my package (a box that my college sons broken computer was going in so that it could be shipped out for repairs) on Tuesday. Finally at 3:21 p.m. PST, I received a call saying that they had a package being held there at the terminal for pick up. necessitating me to make a special trip to pick up the. So then after we got the box to put the broken computer in and getting it ready to send to the repair facility, the UPS driver picked up the box the next day at 2:45 p.m. PST yesterday. I made a copy of the outgoing shipping ticket and this morning I checked the tracking number and this is what I read: Lewiston, ID, United States 10/31/2013 9:28 P.M. Shipper tendered the shipment to UPS after the latest pickup time for the requested service. A day delay is likely. If I read this as it says, it looks like it will be Monday before the computer arrives at the repair facility and Tuesday before it shipped back to him, which means to me that he wont have it back until probably Wednesday. Now, instead of my son having his computer back today repaired and working, it is going to be Monday before they get it to repair it and Tuesday before he gets it back! This makes it a week from the time that I was originally to receive the shipping box and the return ticket so that it could go right back out. As a result of all of this, I have made numerous phone calls regarding this mess and have been lied to or given misinformation at every turn. Here again, it is not the drivers, it is the management and the people manning the phones when a person calls 1-800-742-5877. Im am totally upset, angry and distraught over this situation that keeps just going on and on and on and on some more. I cant help wondering how these UPS people would feel if this was happening to them. Maybe they should have cause to have something like this happen to them so that they could see how it feels before they tell me they understand why I am so upset instead of just using their canned emphasizing on me. Im so upset with all the lies and misleading statements I do not have words to describe it. Im tired of words that never amount to anything. This terrible experience has me NEVER wanting to be a recipient of anything else shipped via UPS and I will also do EVERYTHING possible to avoid having to use UPS EVER again to ship anything to anyone else. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. I could not be that cruel to another human being. Beatrice L.
