The noble cause of coastal clean up In support of the International Coastal Clean-Up, the Municipality of Maragondon headed by Mayor Reynaldo A. Rillo through the coordination of Mrs. Teresita C. Nuestro(Acting MENRO)conducted a clean-up drive along the river of Barangay Caingin and Poblacion 1-B on September 26, 2014. Volunteers from the municipal employees, 2nd year ECE students of PUP-Maragondon Campus, Barangay Officials and residents from Caingin and Poblacion 1-B joined the call in protecting and saving our environment. Needless to say, Maragondon is blessed with pristine bodies of water that everyone considered as a major contributing factor in tourism development. It is our moral obligation to preserve God’s wonderful creation to whom we are indebted to. Thank you to all who supported this noble cause.
