The nonprofit Twin Lakes Civitan Club of Mountain Home, AR is collecting new and gently used books, Pre-k to 6th grade reading levels, to distribute to mentally challenged students in and around our area. We delivered over 600 last year and hope to gather more this year. We would like to have at least one new book for each student. We fill book bags or backpacks with the books and deliver these books to the students just before summer recess in an effort to help them maintain their reading skills over the summer months.
