The number of beds have gone down, because the number of local accident and emergency units have gone up. So has funding for free personal and nursing care. This means less people are spending time in the hospital beds and are getting treated at their local units and by personal nurses from home. Dont expect to hear that side of it through the mainstream media though. Theyll try their damn hardest to ensure that the SNP dont hold the balance of power in may.
