The number two person in the USA Embassy in Cairo (DCM - Deputy Chief of Mission) told me personally (at his home in Zamalek) that he (and the Ambassador) knew a few days before Morsy was declared as a President that it was Shafeeq (and not Morsy) who got more votes. This piece of information was e-mailed earlier today to every single Republican Congressmen to arrange for a hearing (under the oath) with the DCM. What happened can not go without adequate/appropriate investigations.
