The objective of the “Hope 4 Rayaan” group and page is to make people aware of the bone marrow transplant process, including how to become donor and what to expect once registered. There is a shortage of registrants amongst the Asian community. In Rayaan’s case we must recruit potential donors of Pakistani/Indian ethnicity to find the most likely match. This is a global search and we ask you to help us raise awareness amongst the Asian population, wherever you may be in the world. As a by-product of our campaign we endeavour to recruit donors of every nationality as there can never be too many donors registered! Just by spreading the word you don’t know who you may inspire to come forward as a donor and henceforth potentially save someone’s life.
