The office will be closed Thursday thru Sunday. Michele Weissman is teaching at the FSMTA annual Convention: Sports Team Training. This mandatory class to participate on the FSMTA Sports Massage Team is the 5th time Michele is teaching this program. She has managed the Sarasota-Manatee Chapter Sports Team since 2010. In 2011, they were awarded Sports Team of the Year. First becoming a Sports Team member herself in 2001, she has taken the class 5 times as a Sports Team member. In 2011, she was asked to instruct. In 2013, she was asked to be the Lead Instructor at Convention. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the FSMTA and the 30th anniversary for its professional Sports Massage Therapy Team. Our FB cover picture is changed to reflect this years theme and logo for convention. The FSMTA is a non-profit professional organization that unifies the Massage Therapy profession while creating, representing, and promoting standards of excellence in health care. Michele helps them fulfill their vision: To promote Public Awareness of Massage Therapy in Florida Through Education and Professionalism by volunteering her time as Chair for the Sarasota-Manatee Sports Team and working local and state-wide sports events.
