The officers and I have been working with the new Computer Science Teacher, Mr. Tanimoto, to bring to Ingraham: An Hour of Code. Some of you may have heard of this national movement which promotes the learning of coding for anyone of any age. See the fun video link below for inspiration! To make this happen we will need some volunteers on Monday, December 8th who can help assist Mr. Tanimoto in running a day of drop-in coding sessions for freshman and stragglers and learn a bit of code for yourself before we officially get started! (Which will probably be in January but check back soon to see if we can all meet sooner. We have instructors!) We will be meeting in room 200 tomorrow at lunch to further discuss details--please join us if you can!
