The older I am, the more appreciative I am for those special conversations I have with my child in which I realize perhaps it took years, but my child finally gets it. In this case it came in the form of an emotional, heartfelt apology for not considering all I am going through during this extremely difficult transition along with a promise to be here for me physically, emotionally and spiritually. It was one of those moments I realized words I thought went in one ear and out the other, the Lord clearly brought back to remembrance to allow this conversation to happen. Emotional, heartfelt and happy tears. Thank You, Father. Sometimes it is those little things that make a huge difference when we are going through a difficult life kicking us in the butt time of life. :-)
