The one thing I hate most about your room-mate: My roommate at IITB, was one of the most accomodating guys when he arrived at college. He would not mind my friends rushing into my room at any hour of the day. He would not have a problem with us working in my room late into the night (My friends and I used to participate in several competitions and would work very late). He would never say no if a friend of mine would ask him to exchange rooms for a day. But then, in almost a month or two, I realized that people had started making use of this. Having ignorantly played my part in this, I decided to help him learn saying no to people, when he had a problem. But little did I know then that this guy would end up being the annoying person I had ever met. In the next three years, this guy would have a problem with anything I do. He would have a problem with the lights being on in the room when he slept. He would maintain a count of the number of my friends who would come to my room and thereby disturb him. He would mind me listening to music of my own choice, but would keep playing some slow old shit all day long. And this reached the limits, when one day he wakes up in the middle of the night shouting at me, as supposedly he found my typing on my laptop very disturbing. I m just happy he had already graduated by the time I got committed. Else, all hell would have broken loose if I got my girl friend to my room. Share your story.
