The one thing that frustrates me more than anything on a daily basis is the stigma and discrimination to patients with an invisible illness, whether it be mental or physical. The majority of these people who make uniformed and uneducated statements have on the whole no knowledge of the pathology occurring in the body of the person. Its one of the most ignorant acts possible and it hurts the patients more than the disease. All of these diseases have a pathological cause which has been thoroughly tested and accepted by the World Health Organisation. There must be many amateur scientists out there to form their non-evidence based opinions. Most of these people will not research the disease of a friend or family but will have their own personal opinion on the matter. Rejection of something one knows nothing about is the ultimate form of ignorance. If only closed minds came with closed mouths. Sorry for ranting but this really upsets me. Raj Bahbra
