The one-time hub of both transportation and communication for a small, eastern Washington town. The operator is at work; this reminds me of a Harry Bedwell Eddie Sands story. Tools of the trade in sight include main-line and local telegraph sounders, an extension bracket dispatchers telephone and a manual typewriter.
