The operation went well. The consultant said she wasnt surprised I was in pain, as it was very tight in there. The nerve was extremely compressed. Im left with the numbness in my foot (expected - not going to go away overnight) but the sciatic pain has gone. The whole experience has been excellent - very efficient, and the staff have been vigilant and very solicitous. So, note to Jeremy Hunt MP : KEEP YOUR GRUBBY HANDS OFF MY NHS. We must stop this moron before he sells it off to his rich mates .
