The organizing committee of the DUBAI TRAVELLERS’ FESTIVAL announced today that this year’s festival would take place between 26 and 28 November. Once again it will be held at the Cultural and Scientific Association in Al Munza Dubai. It is expected that a large number of international travellers will participate, many of whom have made significant achievements during their travels. These individuals have traversed the globe by various means including car, boat, and motorcycle and even by camel and horseback. Many travellers have climbed great mountains or dived in the most exotic of locations, and importantly some of this has been done for charity. Mr. Awad Mohammed bin Sheika Mugrin, the Director of the Festival, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming 2013 festival, remarking that he expects a large number of new travellers to attend this year’s festival. He also mentioned that under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the festival continues to flourish and we thank His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his continued guidance and direction in meeting the goals and objectives of the festival. We are also pleased to announce that literature on travelling will be available at this year’s festival. In addition, the organizing committee has planned a number of events and displays including seminars, lectures exhibitions of photographs & movies all of which will be available for your enjoyment.
